Air freight through Brussels Airport

Gosselin provides air freight services through BRUCARGO, the cargo platform of Brussels Airport. Our teams coordinate international air freight shipments, connecting airport operations with warehousing, customs and onward transport throughout Belgium and Europe. Whether cargo is moving as part of a regular supply chain or requires priority handling, we manage the operational activities required before and after the flight.

Because air freight is integrated with our wider logistics network, cargo can continue beyond the airport through road, rail, barge and sea transport, supported by warehouses and terminals in Deurne, Genk-Zuid, Wielsbeke and Rekkem. This reduces handovers between providers and creates greater control over the flow of goods from arrival to final delivery.

Own facility at BRUCARGO Zaventem

Gosselin operates its own facility at BRUCARGO. The site combines air freight operations, bonded storage and direct access to the airport cargo community, allowing shipments to move efficiently between aircraft, storage and onward transport.

Our teams manage the operational flow before and after the flight, including storage, customs formalities, cargo screening and handover to airline handling agents. Direct access to handlers and airport operations helps reduce coordination steps and supports efficient cargo processing throughout the shipment journey.

Strategic access to Liège Airport and other major European cargo airports

In addition to BRUCARGO, Gosselin operates a logistics site at Genk-Zuid, located close to Liège Airport, the largest freight airport in the Benelux. The site combines terminal operations, warehousing and cargo handling infrastructure, creating an additional gateway for international air cargo flows moving through Belgium.

The combination of terminal infrastructure, warehousing and proximity to Liège Airport provides additional flexibility for cargo that requires storage, consolidation, specialised handling or onward distribution throughout Europe.

Security screening and regulated agent status

Gosselin is recognised as a Regulated Agent for air cargo operations. This allows approved cargo to move through the air freight process with fewer additional screening requirements.

For shippers without Known Consignor status, cargo screening can be arranged before delivery to the airline handling agent. By managing these security procedures within the air freight process, shipments can move efficiently through Brussels Airport while meeting applicable aviation security requirements.

Connected to road transport and warehousing

Once cargo arrives at Brussels Airport, it can move directly into storage, cross-docking or distribution activities through Gosselin's warehousing network. Shipments can also be collected and delivered throughout Belgium and Europe using our road transport fleet.

Visibility and operational coordination

Air freight shipments often involve airlines, handlers, customs authorities, warehouses and transport providers.

Where additional coordination is required, our Control Tower teams provide a single point of contact for planning, communication and operational follow-up across the wider logistics flow. This creates greater visibility and helps keep all activities aligned throughout the shipment lifecycle.
