An exceptional project in full bloom: Gosselin and Pairi Daiza

Pairi Daiza was looking for a reliable partner to handle all aspects of importing plants and materials from outside Europe. Everything was destined for Edenya, an impressive new universe within the park. Thanks to our own customs department CMC and the guarantee of a single point of contact for all shipments, we were able to offer exactly what Pairi Daiza needed: structure, expertise, and peace of mind.

“Most of the shipments were containers with plants from Thailand, Malaysia, and Tenerife. All of them were destined for the large-scale Edenya project,” explains Team Leader Customer Service, Griet Goderis. The assignment quickly grew into a broader collaboration. “We also handled containers from the United States, Mexico, and China. The contents varied greatly: from crystal stalagmites to restaurant furniture and from cuddly toys and toys for the shops to decorative elements.”

Each shipment required a specific approach, and that is precisely where our strength lies. This is also confirmed by Mr. Patzwahl and Ms. Douilliez, who led the discussions with Gosselin. Mr. Patzwahl is honorary zoological director and curator of Edenya and ethnological collections at Pairi Daiza. Ms. Douiliez is a member of the purchasing department at Pairi Daiza.

“For Edenya, we were looking for a partner who was not only strong in logistics, but also understood how important timing, care, and precision are when working with living plants and unique pieces. We found that partner in Gosselin. The collaboration went smoothly and professionally, and we look forward to realizing even more projects together in the future.” Mr. Patzwahl, curator of Edenya
