In Belgium, specially equipped escort vehicles are required for road transport that exceeds 30 metres in length, 3.5 metres in width, 4.8 metres in height, or 90 tonnes in weight. Our fleet is fully compliant with Belgian, Dutch, French, and Luxembourg legislation, ensuring smooth and legally compliant cross-border transport.

We operate a modern fleet of pilot vehicles and escort vehicles, supported by certified and experienced supervisors. With our in-depth knowledge and practical expertise, we guide oversized and heavy transports safely and efficiently to their destination.

Route surveys for exceptional transport

We are your reliable partner for route surveys for exceptional transport. By continuously monitoring roadworks and changes across the road network, we help identify potential challenges before your transport takes place.

A route evaluation in advance helps prevent unexpected issues. Our team drives the complete itinerary and carries out a thorough assessment of the route.

Based on this analysis, we prepare a detailed road book covering all relevant obstacles, including roundabouts, low or narrow viaducts, and bridge load capacities. Where possible, the road book includes visuals, practical tips, and recommendations on turning circles and blind spots.

Turning a complex wind turbine transport into a controlled operation

When oversized wind turbine components had to move through a route with narrow passages, low clearances and changing road conditions, Gosselin’s Heavy Pilots & Permits team turned a complex transport challenge into a controlled operation. By studying the route in detail, coordinating the required adaptations and arranging the temporary removal of signs, barriers or street furniture where needed, the team created the space and certainty required to get the cargo safely to its destination.
