Road transport connects directly with our inland terminals in Deurne, Genk-Zuid, Wielsbeke and Rekkem, where containers arriving by barge or rail continue by road. Our fleet also supports warehousing operations, collecting goods from suppliers and delivering finished orders across Belgium and Europe.
Case study: from inland terminal to warehouse
For TVH, road transport completes the final stage of an integrated multimodal supply chain. Containers arrive in Antwerp by sea, continue inland by barge to our terminal in Wielsbeke, and are delivered by truck to TVH's distribution centre in Waregem. Containers move from port to warehouse more efficiently, with less congestion and more reliable delivery.
